SIA are
the national organisation of spinal cord injured
people representing all their interests regardless
of how the impairment occurred, whether or
not it has resulted in full or partial paralysis.
SIA support all those who are affected by
spinal cord injury, including the family and
friends of the disabled person. Their motto
'because life needn't stop when you're paralysed'
signifies the strong emphasis SIA places on
leading a full and independent life after
injury. The sharing of information and experience
is at the heart of SIA's commitment to helping
each individual achieve his or her potential
after injury. |
