Gill Cullwick

Trustee
Gill first joined the
Scuba Trust in 1998
after being refused by
several local dive
schools to teach her to
dive because of her
disability. Having
successfully completed
her PADI Open Water that
year, there has been no
stopping her.

Gill is totally hooked on diving and in 1999,
became a Trustee of the Trust. Her main aim
is to give other disabled people the same
chance to dive and enjoy the underwater world.
In October 2004 Gill qualified as a PADI Divemaster.


Frank Buchanan
Trustee


Frank has been
involved with the
Scuba Trust since
1997, qualified as
a PADI Instructor
in 2001. He qualified
as a IAHD Instructor
in 2005 and as a
SDI/Scubility Instructor
 in 2006. Frank is responsible for The Friends of the Trust.
 
Frank is a regular on trips abroad and dives every week in the UK so if you fancy getting wet at any time give him a call. (see Contacts page)

Paul Cluney
Trustee



Paul is a PADI Divemaster
and has been helping the
Scuba Trust for many years.
In 2009 Paul became the
newest Trustee of the Scuba
Trust. He looks forward
towards the challenges his first year as a Trustee will bring.
He is an avid helper and can be found at most dry dives and other fund raising events


Carole Illing



Carole is a Rescue diver
and started diving in 1994
and was one of the first
members of the Scuba Trust.
She is a familiar face at
most fund raising events
and try dives. If she is not
in the water helping she will
be found organising students
at the pool side. She is a regular on all the holidays. Her knowledge of disabilities is far ranging and always there to lend a helping hand.

Chris Hannam

 


Chris is a PADI Instructor
and has been involved
with the Scuba Trust
since 2007. He regularly
gets involved in the UK
Scuba Trust trips and
training weekends, and
has also attended some
of the holidays providing support when needed. He also lends a much needed hand when the Scuba Trust attends the dive exhibition shows. On top of his instructing, he is a keen sailor and paraglider.

Alan Kenny

 

Alan is an IAHD diver.
He's been diving since
2001 and is a regular
on the Scuba Trust
trips abroad. He
completed his first UK
cold water dive at Horsea
Island in 2003. Alan is a
qualified modern dance teacher and can often be found at Causeway Stadium supporting Wycombe Wanders FC.

Lydia Wood


Lydia Wood became
involved with the
scuba trust in 2004
and has completed
all her courses with
the scuba trust,upto
and including her
rescue diver course.
Lydia is now working on completing her divemaster qualification. She is a keen helper at try dives and is the distributor of the scuba trust merchandise.She has also been on several holidays being a keen helper both above and below the water.


James Davenport



James is one of the
original Scuba Trust
members, joining them
in 1996. He started
diving in 1991 when
he qualified as a BSAC
Novice 2 diver. Since then
James has worked his way up the dive career ladder and is currently in the process of training to be a PADI Divemaster
